Spectrometer - radiometer DPM7001 is a device for registering pulses arising from the interaction of beta particles with a liquid scintillator.
The count rate of recorded pulses is proportional to the activity of the measured sample, pulse amplitude is proportional to the energy of the particle that caused them.
On the basis of measurements carried out identification and calculation of activity of beta-emitting radionuclides in samples.
Spectrometer - radiometer DPM7001 consists of the detection unit with two photomultiplier, coincidence circuit, preamplifier, amplifier, amplitude analyzer which
provides spectral analysis of the radiation, and the microprocessor controller.
The signals from the both anodes of the photomultipliers are converted in the coincidence circuit and transmit to the input of the preamplifier, where it is amplified and specially formed for optimal signal / noise ratio and further it is converted into a digital code that is proportional to the absorbed energy.
The resulting data set is stored in the analyzers memory and forms the energy spectrum of the radiation - the dependence of the count of registered pulses of radiation energy.
For further data processing in order to obtain information about the content of radionuclides in the sample of the substance microprocessor controller calculates and displays the results on the screen of the device, or sends them to a PC via the serial interface.
