ASW2.Scenarium
Module for remote control

Description

The module Scenarium is a standalone program that can be launched both from the ASW2 software and separately. The module is intended to execute sequences of spectrum processing operations and other actions in the ASW2 program. The module Scenarium also allows remote access to the ASW2 via the specified IP address.
Since the Scenarium effectively provides access to the tools of the ASW2 software via the TCP/IP protocol, the user can also independently create their own software modules that will send commands recognized by the ASW2. The list and description of commands of the Scenarium executed by the ASW2 are provided in User Manual of ASW2.

Special features

The module Scenarium contains the following built-in functions:
- integrated editor for constructing command sequences with tooltips displaying available commands and their parameters.
- tools for providing quality control procedures using ROI-method and peak analysis method. These tools not only generate reports on the results of the analysis but also facilitate the creation of control charts for analyzing changes of spectrometers characteristics over time.
- scenarios can be saved and opened as files.
If necessary, the list of commands of module Scenarium can be expanded.

Application

The Scenario module is used to work with external devices that are used in conjunction with spectrometers. These could be robotic (automated) sample changing systems (autosamplers), equipment for analyzing radioactive waste (free release monitors), whole body spectrometers, mobile measurement systems, and others.

The ability to remotely access the ASW2 program also allows for the localization of the measurement system in inaccessible locations (premises) for the user, while ensuring reliable remote access to the spectrometer and control through the module Scenarium over the network.
